Mockboards...

I'm really happy about this experience even though I failed! It was good to see how important patient selection is and how everything runs. It was a good feeling when Pro. Hanson sat down and had a difficult time getting the calculus off. She warned me before I used her as my mockboard patient not to cry when I miss a bunch of spots.:) But when you have a limited selection what do you do? :)I know there are things I could improve on... I just have to keep progressing and striving to learn new and better techniques. I have seen improvement already in this first month. I hope that I can continue to improve and not hit a plateau. Even though dental hygiene school has been one of the most stressful times of my life... I really do enjoy treating the patients. ( not so much scheduling or depending on them showing up and being the right classification)
